NEW YORK – July 29, 2020 – Thrillist, the James Beard award-winning resource for food, drink, travel, and entertainment, announced today a new partnership with Goldbelly, the popular online marketplace that curates and ships America’s most iconic regional foods, for an all new season of its fan-favorite series, Send Foodz, premiering on Thursday, July 23. Immediately following the release of each episode, Thrillist will be publishing curated menu selections from restaurants around the country, available for purchase via Goldbelly so viewers can bring the best meals from every city right to their home.

“At Thrillist we’re all about connecting people with the most delicious food in every city,” said Thrillist’s Chief Content Officer, Meghan Kirsch. “Given Goldbelly’s ability to curate and bring iconic restaurant meals to people around the country, it was a natural fit to partner with them to highlight their amazing offerings in our new season of Send Foodz. Since people can’t easily travel to their favorite cities right now, this partnership gives our audience a much needed dose of culinary nostalgia with the opportunity to get these iconic dishes delivered right to their doorstep.”
Send Foodz typically follows the YouTube duo Timothy DeLaGhetto and David So as they visit food festivals across the U.S. to sample and savor the goods. In the new season, the duo will feature a city and take us through their curated selections of widely acclaimed products they discovered on Goldbelly - from legendary BBQ, to the most epic burgers, to famous regional pies. Additionally, Thrillist will run editorial coverage that touches on the power of food to resurface and recreate our greatest food memories and experiences.
“As the premier regional food experts, our number one goal at Goldbelly is to bring a smile to people’s faces or a moment of nostalgic comfort through food,” said Joe Ariel, Founder & CEO of Goldbelly. “Especially in today’s world, food has the incredible power to connect people with a favorite place, memory or experience, which many of us just don’t have access to right now. That’s why we’re so excited to partner with Thrillist to have Timothy and David help those at home travel with their taste buds and experience the greatest foods from around the U.S.”
