The show highlights the challenges, unconventional scientific methods and the wild experiments that changed the face of science forever. Hosted by Greg Foot and Maren Hunsberger, this podcast will tell you the stories of the bizarre journeys that led to everything from the invention of x-rays and live-saving vaccines to the discovery of the first moments of the universe and more.

Season one features 14, 45-minute episodes that examine a different subject per episode including an American doctor in training who tried to prove that yellow fever wasn’t contagious by subjecting himself to his own experiments, the creation of a wall made of electricity, and the development of one of the first computers.
