Seeker Partners With Discovery Education to Bring Science Series to Students and Educators

Seeker Continues to Help Educate Gen-Z and Young Audiences With Science Programming

SAN FRANCISCO – (June 23, 2021) – Seeker, the #1 science brand on mobile in the U.S. [Nielsen DCR, April 2020], has partnered with Discovery Education, the global leader in standards-aligned digital curriculum resources for K-12 classrooms, to bring Seeker’s science series to the award-winning Discovery Education platform. Through this four-year partnership, Discovery Education users – approximately 4.5M educators and 45M students worldwide — will soon have access to episodes of Seeker’s video series: “Science In The Extremes,” “Focal Point,” “Elements,” “SICK,” and “Space Crafts.” Discovery Education will also include Seeker’s content in their “Explore Your World” initiative to inspire students ahead of their summer vacation.

Prior initiatives in this space include: the launch of Seeker Learning, its learning destination, which was named a 2021 Webby honoree; two tween-focused health podcasts, That’s Totally Normal! and Genius Generation, in partnership with TRAX from PRX; and continued massive growth on TikTok, where Seeker’s views have increased 125% YOY and followers have nearly tripled (197%). In 2020, the brand was recognized for the “Best TikTok Presence” by the Shorty Awards and participated in TikTok’s Creative Learning Fund.
