NEW YORK, NY (November 3, 2018) -- NowThis, the no. 1 news publisher in the world on social media, today announced new results of its latest “America’s Future” Poll focusing on Texas. The poll, conducted in partnership with PredictWise on October 30th and 31st, 2018, uses new methodology that calibrates findings based on key turnout information coupled with live early voting data.

-Senate Race - Texans overall favor Ted Cruz (46%) over Beto O’Rourke (44%). Millennials ages 18-34 favor O’Rourke (56%-34%) and Independents favor O’Rourke (45%-23%)
-Enthusiasm - Majority (53%) of millennials in Texas ages 18-34 are “more enthusiastic” this election than in previous years.
-Early Voting - 57% of young adults likely to vote in Texas have already voted (early + absentee).
Issues - Texans said Immigration/Caravan (28%), Healthcare/Pre-existing Conditions (25%) and Wages (17%) were the top issues in the midterms.
The poll, conducted from 10/30 to 10/31 sampled 1,000 eligible voters in Texas with a model error of +/- 5 percentage points. The results will be published on NowThis’ America’s Future site today and the site will continue to update with new results until the November midterm election.
