NEW YORK, NY (March 5, 2018) – Group Nine Media today named Terry City as West Coast Vice President of Sales. City is an accomplished sales leader who brings over 20 years of experience in the media, entertainment and advertising industries to the role. He will be responsible for advertising, revenue and brand partnerships for Group Nine across the West Coast region.

Terry is a seasoned veteran with over 20 years of experience in the media, entertainment and advertising industries. Most recently, City served as the SVP of Brand Partnerships for digital media company Dose. Prior to joining Dose, he was VP, West Coast Sales and Strategy for Buzzfeed where he managed the digital media company’s sales and strategy for the West Coast region including teams in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle. Before that, City was the Executive Director of Sales and Strategy at HuffPost where he oversaw the company’s sales team and planning in the Southern California region. Early in his career, Terry held leadership positions at Anheuser Busch, Variety and The Hollywood Reporter. City will be based in the company’s Los Angeles office and will report to Chief Revenue Officer Todd Anderman.
