NEW YORK – (October 6, 2020) – Group Nine Media, the no. 1 video publisher on mobile in the U.S. [Nielsen DCR, June 2020], today announced that all five of its mobile-first publishers (NowThis, The Dodo, POPSUGAR, Thrillist and Seeker) have joined Google as alpha partners to support Google’s launch of its new Web Stories product.

Group Nine joins other premium publishers who will be featured in Google’s new dedicated Web Story carousel with Discover, which is launching today in the U.S., Brazil and India to start, and more countries planned in the future.
