B. Which types of cookies does Group Nine use?

Our Services use our own Cookies, which may be facilitated through use of technologies provided by our third-party vendors (“First-Party Cookies”), to recognize you and remember you as a unique user:
Strictly Necessary or Essential Cookies
These Cookies are essential in order for you to move around the Services and to use the features of the Services. We use “Session Cookies” to remember you during your session on our Services. They remain in your browser or device until you leave the site and are then deleted from your device once you leave the Services. Session Cookies are used to ensure you are served content correctly, to balance and monitor load on our servers, and for other technical matters essential to the operation of our Services. For UK and EEA users, we have activated Google’s IP anonymization function on our Services. This will cause your IP address to be removed by Google within Member States of the EEA before being transmitted to the United States. In some exceptional cases, the full IP address may be transmitted to a Google server in the United States and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of Group Nine to evaluate your use of the Sites, to compile reports on Site activity and to provide us with other services relating to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

Our advertising partners collect User Data from you for the purposes they disclose through our consent management platform (linked to below under Can I Change My Cookie Preferences?) and their respective privacy policies. Our advertising partners include ad networks such as third-party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors and research firms.
C. Can I Change My Cookie Preferences?
You can decide who you will allow to set Third-Party Cookies on your browser or device by going to our consent management platform by clicking on the Cookie Settings button in the footer of every page on the Services. Please note that if you intend to opt out of tracking for advertising purposes, you will need to adjust your Cookie Settings separately for each brand.
California residents can opt out of the sale of their personal information, as “sale” is defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) by filling out the form here, or by clicking on the “Do Not Sell My Personal Information” link in the footer of every page on the Services.
